Pender Island Metal Roof
This beautiful newly constructed home was built with little compromise with regard to roofing materials. "Iron Ore" was selected for the colour for all the new buildings on site: main house, shop, woodshed and generator shed. The roof was planned and engineered to have a low curving pitch which proved to be a challenge for the flashing - every piece of flashing was shaped by hand to take the curve of the roof. The results are amazing!

This new build property required the construction of approximately 8000 ft² of rooftop in addition to two torch-on decks. With a truly beautiful high-specification home surrounded by ocean views, the owners wanted something equally high quality for their roof and we were able to deliver, using the very best materials and adding a number of desirable features.

For this beautiful new build construction, we focused on using only the highest quality of roofing materials, utilizing commercial grade 24 gauge metal in iron ore for 20-inch panels.
As the house itself was built with spacious rooms in mind, we accommodated that with a roof that had a high number of hips, valleys, and peal vents and a mix of both 6/12 and 10/12 pitch.
